    • Audi A6 C7 PFL Standard (313 hp)
    • Audi A6 C7 PFL Sline or S6

Below is the translated text. Care has been taken to maintain accuracy and clarity, while ensuring the translation remains original and free from plagiarized phrasing.

First, let’s take a look at the standard Audi A6 C7 PFL and the 313 hp version.

One of the most popular upgrade options is the well-known RS6 tuning package. This kit transforms the car, giving it a completely different appearance. Thanks to precise engineering, the components achieve perfect alignment with the vehicle, creating a new, sporty look. To carry out such a project, you’ll need to acquire certain parts that must be painted by a skilled professional before installation. The required parts are:

  • RS6-style front tuning bumper for the standard Audi A6 C7 PFL
  • RS6-style front lip spoiler for the RS6 bumper
  • Side skirts
  • RS6 diffuser for the standard Audi A6 C7 PFL

These are the main four elements, and now I’ll provide more details about them.

When buying an alternative RS6 front bumper, keep in mind that different configurations are available on the market. Always examine the details thoroughly to ensure that you’re purchasing a bumper with ALL the necessary accompanying parts. Tuning for Audi A6 C7  – The most comprehensive set includes:

  • Front bumper (the main unit, provided in primer)
  • Grille with a “QUATTRO” section (optionally black or with a chrome frame; the grille itself is glossy black)
  • A gray blade integrated into the front bumper (an inseparable part of the bumper, not related to the lip spoiler mentioned above)
  • 2 washer covers (it’s good to ask the seller if they can supply spares in case of theft or other issues)
  • 1 tow hook cover
  • A 5-piece set of grilles for the distance sensors (distronics):
    • 2 glossy black sensor grilles
    • 2 air ducts
    • 2 duct bases
    • 2 sensor mounting housings
  • 2 decorative sensor caps
  • Mounting/fastening parts
  • An under-engine cover

Front bumper

When it comes to the front bumper, the main requirement is to bring it to a professional who has experience working with non-original or aftermarket parts. Often, mechanics are happy to charge for their services, but they may never have installed alternative components before. In those cases, the most common reaction is, “This doesn’t fit!” As with any specialized craft, tuning has its own specifics. Make sure your chosen specialist has previously fitted an RS6 package on an Audi A6 C7 PFL.

Regarding the grille, our observations show that customers are much happier with an RS6 grille whose honeycomb sections are trimmed, allowing them to perfectly install their initials. At first glance, this might seem like a minor detail, but it actually makes a huge difference. If you can’t find such an option right now, at least check whether the emblem’s backing is made of two components—one solid and one intermediate (a mounting piece in glossy black). Neglecting these details could leave visible plastic honeycomb sections from the grille, which definitely looks unappealing and far from attractive.

As for the gray blade on the front bumper, we’d advise you to ensure its availability—ask if there’s an option to have it delivered. This part is also considered a kind of consumable. There are two variations of the gray blade: a gray version (whose surface you can easily repaint) and a chrome version (chrome is more complicated because its surface is very hard to strip, and practically anything you try to apply as a coating material will eventually peel off). With this information in mind, we recommend keeping the original color, as it will undoubtedly be the most durable choice.

Small details

Headlight washer covers are quite difficult to find from dealers in Bulgaria. Normally, we keep spare parts from bumpers on hand precisely to meet our customers’ needs as effectively as possible. Here’s a good tip for those who like to plan ahead: if you want to be sure your car won’t end up “winking” at some point, we recommend finding a company that produces small automotive components using a 3D printer. Have them make you a spare set of washer covers, just in case. From experience, we can say that choosing a somewhat softer material is best, since it allows for a bit of flexibility. These washer covers need to adapt to the mechanism so that the headlight washing system functions correctly. Pricing may vary depending on current rates, but it generally shouldn’t exceed about 100–110 BGN.

Distronic

When it comes to the radar sensor grilles (distronics), it’s important to know whether your car is even equipped with this feature. If it is, bear in mind that they must be calibrated after installation to ensure proper operation. This calibration can be done at an authorized brand representative or at an alternative service center that provides such services. If your vehicle doesn’t have distronics, you’ll use the decorative caps included in the kit. In this case, the car will look like an Audi A6 C7 PFL equipped with a radar-assisted system.

Front lip spoiler

The front lip spoiler designed for the Audi RS6 front bumper is the most distinctive element in the entire RS6 concept. It’s made up of three parts: two side sections and a center piece. For a perfect fit, pay attention to the plastic on the side pieces where they meet the bumper. Manufacturers often leave extra material so the customer can adapt the spoiler not just to the RS6 bumper but to others as well. In short, this lip needs to be customized to ensure it can be securely attached to the bumper. Usually, you’ll just need to trim it, and after that, it can be installed with a tight, flawless fit.

Side skirts

Side skirts designed specifically for the standard Audi A6 C7 should typically be two-piece. Usually, the main component is delivered in a primer finish, while the attached moldings come in glossy black. As for skirt add-ons, our advice is not to be tempted into buying Maxton side trims directly. They cannot be mounted onto the car’s factory configuration without modifications. If you absolutely love the look of Maxton’s tuning trims, one option is to purchase secondhand A6 C7 S Line side skirts, install them first, and then attach the adhesive Maxton trims.

RS6 diffuser

The RS6 diffuser, a sporty addition to the rear bumper, fortunately fits both the sedan and Avant (wagon) variants. It consists of four parts:

  1. Main Body with Two Oval Cutouts:
Generally, diffusers come fully finished—either entirely in glossy black or glossy black with a gray trim. The key point here is that if you can only find one with a gray trim and you want an all-black look, you’ll need to budget for painting the entire diffuser. You can’t just paint the gray section alone.
  2. Integrated Tailpipe Tips:
These are an inseparable part of the diffuser, typically in a steel-like finish. There are ways to make them black if desired.
  3. Adapters (Transition Pieces):
Their color may vary depending on the supplier. Some arrive in black, others in a steel color.
  4. Clamps:
The clamps are needed to secure the adapters to the original exhaust pipes.

For the Audi A6 C7 PFL with 313 hp, everything about the RS6 package is exactly the same as described so far, with one exception: the diffuser section. On the 313 hp model, the exhaust pipes differ from the standard configuration. That’s why it’s wise to plan ahead and ensure your paint specialist is located near a welder. After the diffuser is mounted, the welder may need to adjust the exhaust tips. Keep in mind that until this modification is done, you should drive the car very slowly without revving the engine, or transport it on a flatbed truck. This precaution is necessary to avoid potentially melting the newly installed component.
